HOLDING SPACE FOR EVERY PART OF YOUR PARENTING JOURNEY

You might be finding parts of parenthood are way harder than you could have ever imagined or prepared for and I'm so glad you're here - looking after yourself while trying to start a family or looking after little humans. You're doing brave work! It's hard to work through the emotional parts, the traumatic parts, the hurt parts. It's taken you courage to find yourself here - to really look at yourself, to recognize change is needed, and to do the work.

Therapy with me is a soft landing spot after a tough day, week, month, or year(s). I offer a safe, non-judgmental space for you to unravel, dump out your emotions and past experiences, process, make sense of them, and put yourself back together in ways that feel whole, authentic, and joyful.

Together, we will navigate your parenthood journey, work through your heavy thoughts and emotions, set goals, and find strategies and tools that heal, re-energize, and build your confidence and joy. You deserve to be taken care of too. If you'd like to learn more about how I can support you, I offer a free 15 minute consultation (hit the button at the top of the screen any time to book).  Support is available in person in Port Coquitlam and online across B.C.

About

Hello!

Kelly Smith, MPCC

The journey to parenthood can be a rollercoaster of emotions and challenges and when you finally get there... parenting can be so hard sometimes with constantly being needed, middle of the night wake ups, limited time for yourself, and the ever changing needs of your growing child.

I’m Kelly and I support parents and parents-to-be, birth and parent with confidence and joy! I’m a Master Practitioner in Clinical Counselling (MPCC). After becoming a parent, I faced postpartum anxiety, exhaustion, and was swallowed whole by my “mom” identity. The days blended into each other and the nights felt impossibly long. I didn’t realize until I became a parent how hard it is to be everything to someone and how easy it is to be consumed by it.

This is why I’m so passionate about what I do - I love helping parents find ways to take care of themselves so they can re-energize, reconnect, and enjoy their parenting journey.  I believe you don't have to sacrifice yourself to be a good parent - I believe you can have it all.  Let's work together to get you there.
